I wonder how Buddy-centric we’ll be tonight? We seem to start a lot of games very Buddy focussed but tend to look for other targets as the game goes on.
Yes I hope we don't keep kicking it to Moore and Howe. Last time we played them I recall Howe taking a few intercept marks.

Is that actually true? I think the reality is that it is just much harder for all forwards to perform well in finals due to the types of high pressure contests that make forward entries chaotic.

Buddy is currently 4th all time for the number of goals kicked in finals matches. He also has a better goal kicking average in finals than Wayne Carey, Dermott Brereton and Barry Hall.

I think he has done alright over the journey.

Was very heavy rain and windy as we drove into Moore Park 20 minutes ago, but sun is out and clear now with zero wind.

One of those sorts of day but skies looking pretty clear at the very moment.

Lots of toothless ones around - us in Red and White will need to be loud today!

We really need our supporters to be very loud and drown out the Pies fans.

Tried to get a park at 1.00pm at
                  The precinct opposite …
The dude on the gate goes:
Nah mate I’ll be opening the gate at
                  1.45 pm .
                  Inexplicable.

Should add that to the three certain things in Life. Death, Taxes and free kick count.

Thanks for the weather update mcs! I reckon dry weather suits us better as we like to use our foot skills more these days. Either way I hope we can perform better than them in either conditions!

0.2mm at Moore Park since 9am, 50% chance of another 0.4mm/hr soon. Might be a slippery ball.

Compared to the west there's already 1.6mm since 9am so the SCG got the better end of the stick.

It is windy in amongst the few bits of rain, so should be no issues at all unless there is a seriously heavy downpour.

I'm hoping that Hotpotato's earlier post re Brisbane's loss to Geelong, will apply to the Magpies too. We are the rested team and may be sharper at the start (here's hoping) and less likely to run out of steam when the chips are down. The weather and likely slippery conditions however is an unknown factor. It may depend on who adapts to the conditions better.

We need to start well then not give up until the cold pies are ready to run off back to Melbourne.

The same medicine we dished out a month ago please. Don't give them a sniff!

                                Come on you mighty Swannies!
