Good to hear Kostanty starting to show the talent he has. Some fans around the place already had written him off after 2 seconds flat.
Get a good pre season into him and see how he goes in 2024.
Nice to finally see a big win for the ressies in what has been a tough season for them.

The last 2 weeks the reserves team have been amazing. Next week Gold Coast who are on top of ladder and following week they have Werribee who are second on the ladder. That will really find out where they are.Comment

Nice to see that Melican has had a quick recovery and I like that the academy contingent of Cleary, Kirk, Gander and Rider are still getting a go. Another academy player, Ned Hawkins, is making his debut. Not sure if he's quite got the class to be drafted, but he has played some useful games on the flanks in the Talent League. Unfortunately, Shipley appears to be injured again. Which is a shame, as he's done well this year.
Gold Coast will be hard to beat, as they haven't got much of an injury list, and they've added to their depth, by giving a debut to Ethan Read, who pundits pick to go top ten in the draft.Comment

Not sure anyone wrote either player off, just questioned their selections on a needs basis
Fact is they’ve both still got a long way to go to prove themselves as long term afl quality players, but that’s to be expected from first and second year drafteesComment

I'd have thought raising questions or expressing doubts is pretty intrinsic to a forum like this.
Anyway, back to the ressies, today will be a big test, lots of height on both sides.Comment

Clarke and Tsitas not playing in their respective teams, look like the subs this afternoonComment

Ben Long is playing on Buller which feels like a big mismatchComment

Thought that quarter was a bit more competitive than the score suggests. Possibly the major difference, was that loose balls in the Suns forward 50 bounced towards their players, while in our forward 50, the loose balls bounced away from ours. Although, it'd be nice if we hit more targets when moving the ball.Comment

I think it's actually ex GWS Steen on Buller. But Long and Buller seem to like roughing each other up.

I'm used to the Swans losing the centre clearances, with this is horrible.Comment

We are getting destroyed in the rucks, giving our mids little chance. Moyle is senior material and Read is the best ruck in the draft. It's a bit of a wake up call if Ladhams and McAndrew are our hopes going forward.

They definitely aren’t my hope! Hence we need Grundy or another good ruck.Comment
