I tipped the Blues but I was also quite happy at the thought of them blowing another good lead in the final quarter.

Unfortunately, with games against the Suns, Hawks and Weagles, they will be 3-2 by the time we play them in rnd 6.

A lot of talk about the impact of the GF on us, very little about the winners. I’m hoping Geelong have the worst hangover ever and miss the eight.

Wouldn't that be something? I hope the first two rounds is incentive enough for every team that plays Geelong to really go after them.

I did enjoy Bowes badly missing that set shot that could have made the game super close toward the end.

Yes, my match highlight. Although, Curnow did put in an impressive performance.

Hmm, might be attaching a bit too much significance to their round one performance.

Gawn down with a knee and the Dees are in early trouble. Lions well on top late in the first.

We've got Melbourne next week, now highly likely Gawnless, PCL or ACL

They'll want to hit back so hopefully we're up for it.

That unscheduled intermission really soured Brisbane's victory. At least they got the 4 points.

Wonder how much that break and aggressive attack will affect Melbourne's recovery. They have a seven day break (we have six) and home ground advantage. No Gawn so up to us to make the most of it.

But Grundy had proven to be recruit if the year!

Reckon Collingwood are mighty relieved to get Grundy off their books
