Well said MickeydeeHey Swannies..we are up against a very good team tomorrow..they have injuries..we have injuries..the best side on the day will win..if that is not us I suggest we don’t get feral on the players in the red and the white..they play their hearts out..no one hurts more than them when they don’t get the results we and them want … for 60 years I have loved the red and the white.. I don’t like to see’ supporters ‘ turn on them when they don’t get the results that they and we want

I think we played very well last week. The difference was the Giants' goalkicking which was extraordinary. They will not be able to replicate that in 2023. Exhibit A, last night's Manuka game where they kicked 11.11. Unfortunate their goalkicking masterclass occurred against us.
Something that I feel is being overlooked, is our 2022 dream run with injuries. The team was settled, players had more time to form a connection with their teammates. Not so this year. Younger players aren't benefitting from that same level of support and are being required to do more, play unfamiliar roles. It's not as easy for them as last year, and they're being stretched. Understandable that confidence might drop off under these circumstances and they are running out of petrol.
Rowbottom came third in the B&F last year at age 21. He will go on to become a 10 year 200 game player, and is at least Dunkley's equal. Dunkley's been around for three additional seasons, and should be peaking about now. Let's reassess Rowie at age 26. Not fussed about missing out on Dunkley, but it's a shame we couldn't land Darcy Moore. It's very hard to live in a studio apartment in San Jose with a man who's learning to play violin. That's what she told the police when she handed them the empty revolver.
