Woo hoo we're in front!! What a great quarter. I'm glad we have received reward for our effort.

I've been frustrated by the goal kicking but the radio has said the wind is very blustery and it's hard to score down that end. Where I am sitting there is hardly any wind.

Much better second half of the quarter..I like how we are trying to stretch them side to side more.. Ladhams starting to having an influence as well.

We need to start taking our chances. But we're are giving it a red hot go which is pleasing.

Clarke doing really well on Daicos - has to continue.

The thing about Fox is he is so well BALANCED - he hardly falls over and is agile. He also rarely makes a mistake. Heartening quarter - need to keep pushing.

Very true. I like it too - doing some good things and trying hard.

We are playing so differently today. Our possession numbers are through the roof compared to most other games. Parker, Gulden, McInerney, Fox, Mills are all 15+ possessions. Wasn't that long ago where we only had 1 player 20+ in a game.

Hopefully we can keep up the intensity in the 2nd half! It will be tough and I'm still not daring to think we'll go on to win, but I just hope we don't let ourselves down and get blown away in the 2nd half after such a good effort to get us back in front at half time.

Geez, just imagine if we didn't stuff up so many basic kicks! We'd be well in front! Lol.

Pies are a little spooked by the mongrel the Swans are applying, Blakey outstanding, doesn’t give up scrapping for the ball. It’s such an engrossing and nail biting game.
If the boys can play like this for the whole game, who knows.
Ladhams deserved a goal from that superb mark.

Loved watching the run through the middle, especially when Blakey was coming out of defence. Lots of players going very well: Gulden, Fox, Parker, Mills, Blakey, Warner. Hope we can keep it up.

That’s fantastic. I get the frustration with the goal kicking but the way we’re playing is superb - hard at the contest, willing to run and overlap and take some risks to find a man in space, and pressure on the ball carrier. Our midfield led by Parker has been collectively superb, Fox is a beauty, Blakey and Hayden McLean wonderful.

We will need to maintain it as they’ll inevitably have a run and maximise our chances, but good on them for such an effort so far.

We outplayed them that quarter, would like to see it continue- but we'll see. Great to see the team making a gigantic effort to get back into the game. I think we all need to go to the new fancy Swans training facility and insist on continuous goal kicking practice next week.
