Well that's disappointing, but also a relief that our bad goal kicking didn't result in a loss. Lots to like in that game...I agree about Rowy- I think he's stepped up this year, Heeney seems down on form or confidence, Errol and Shedrick are looking good, Logan will get better.

I thought the umpiring was OK tonight, not too intrusive, and the game was allowed to flow. We lost it ourselves by missing so many goals..not much more can be said than that.

Oh and we may have kept Geelong from the finals...

Not using Clarke as the sub says it all really! Should not be selected again, Wasted selection.

Clarke was an injury selection, not a tactical selection. The best tactical selection possibility was Corey Warner, and I doubt he would have been used in these circumstances.

Absolutely agree with the positives already mentioned. We were the better team for most of that match. Yes it's a pity we could not convert more, especially with the chances so close to the goals.

We did not play like rubbish as some have intimated on here, we just did not finish our good work. No-one wants to kick 18 behinds and no-one is going to be harder on themselves for errant kicking than the players themselves.

I like what Melican did today on Hawkins. Also thought Francis played well too. Braeden just keeps getting better and McInerney is putting together a good stretch of games. The more Amartey and Logan play together, the better.

I think we can take a lot of confidence out of today. We didn't look scarred by our last two significant loses to the Cats.

BS...it was a 93 pt turn around from the last time we played them! There is positives even though we kicked ourselves out of it....lots of positives but hey, be negative 'if it makes you feel better'.
