Those scenes with Horse after the match were brilliant. The players have loved him, and my understanding is never more so than after the COVID hubs.
Gulden is just a freak. Tom McCartin wasn’t far behind tonight - so glad he’s back.
The desperation from Buddy late and that tackle from Amartey on Richards summed us up tonight. Heeney did a lot of grunt work tonight - clearing space, taps, etc but that surge run and kick to Paps was brilliant.
Ollie, McInerney, Rowie and Paps so good, and great to see him back in form.Comment

How good was that. They didn't do everything right ("drop punt don't snap!") but didn't panic, won back the lead, defended it and saw it through.
Smashed on most of the stats except a couple of key ones: efficiency inside 50 and tackles inside 50. Scored when it mattered, defended when it mattered.
Loved the scenes at the end too. I think in the context of the season, that win will be right up there.
There's an "Errol pinpoint kicks" highlights video at the Swans website, well worth a look.
That's me set up for the weekend.Comment

So happy about that win!
Great to see Buddy and Papley kick some goals. Great game by Gulden and Ollie too.
Some gripes:
- Geez, the umpires let the Bulldogs hold onto the ball a long time when they were tackled...
- Gulden unlucky to get over the shoulder again with no call, same as last week.
- Hayward, oh my... he really is frustrating.
- So sorry for Melican. I think he will be kept though due to losing 1-2 McCartins.Comment

pretty quickly.
Very mediocre turnout in the upper deck of Brewongle from the long term reserved seat folks where we sit. We may have 62,000
members but some of them are a bit soft in my opinion. I guess it's the same for all the clubs.
The best thing about a Thursday night win is you can have a relaxing Friday and weekend and watch all the lesser teams
scrap it out.Last edited by KTigers; 14 July 2023, 03:39 AM.Comment

Still on a huge high from last night's great win over the Poodles! Supporters of other clubs would've been cheering us on, too, as the Poodles went from looking at a top 4 spot to being precariously placed and vulnerable in the 8.

Fantastic to get that win
Awesome membership drive in 2023 given the ups and downs
It was a great vibe out at the SCG in the end considering the timid start in the contests and clearances and the Bont running on water straight through the middle and leaving Parks and Heeney behind
What a turnaround and response
Well done Horse and the boys"be tough, only when it gets tough"

Just keep him paired with Daisy and he'll be right. And it'll be a welcome change for her; not having to spend a chunk of her on air time, patiently and subtly explaining concepts like, 'yes, but things have changed since you played the game' and 'just because you thought something, it doesn't mean that it's real'.Comment

My exact thoughts also. I think they are use to winning the free kick count and when they don't its a complete shock. For Swans fans, we are shocked by winning the free kick count. But it was nothing like the 2016 GF.Comment
