Another feather in the cap of Longmire.Unfortunately, in the eyes of many, the drama of last night will overshadow the fact that we've won 6 in a row against teams that, like us, were fighting for a finals spot.
But thanks to the Eagles beating the Poodles, we are finals bound yet again!
Personally, I'm elated! We were dead in the water two months ago but are now back in business!
Just love this club!
BLOODS FOREVER!Comment

One of the things I love about Horse as a coach is he never, ever accepts that we have to be a losing side. Even during 2019 and 2020, he was working on a game plan to return us to the top of the table but he still wanted to win there and then.'Delicious' is a fun word to sayComment

Move on I reckon yup wasn’t a goal amd no it’s not good enough BUT it’s happened. I know I’d be screaming blue murder if the shoe was on the other foot.
We played the better footy for three quarters so build a bridge.
I am more concerned about the form of players like Mills, Parker amd Warner

His response was absolutely pathetic and for him to not back his official (as they traditionally always do, even when some umpires decisions are indefensible) shows he lacks a spine when his bias against the Swans comes in to play. The AFL's response (by the retiring CEO) was a joke. How can he, the AFL or any of the joke commentators make a definitive call on the disputed goal/ point. The goal umpire who was the only official on the spot to make the call. Regardless of any vision, the goal umpire was confident enough to make the right call in his mind. For the AFL CEO to say it was a mistake, it should have been reviewed and to sack the goal umpire for the rest of the year, is a real joke. Just shows that the AFL bowed to public and media pressure, did not back their official one iota, which is a real shame. If I was the goal umpire, I would resign and get the umpires union to make an issue of the AFL not backing their GameDay officials. It's a bloody disgrace.
How much longer are we going to be paying for our recruiting of the NOW RETIRED Buddy Franklin?
Is the new AFL boss going to cut us any slack or is he tarred with the same prejudiced brush?
I for one am getting sick and tired of it and despite us continually succeeding in the face of such prejudice, it is exhausting and must be for the club and the players too.
I agree too that the goal umpire should pursue this through the umpires union. The poor bugger has basically been thrown to the wolves. Shame on you McLaughlan.Comment
