Rnd 24 vs Melbourne at the SCG, Sunday 27 August at 3:20 PM
I know Damian Barrett isn’t the most popular footy journo on RWO and he obviously still doesn’t understand the concept of “sliding doors” but in today’s Sliding Doors segment on the AFL website, he mentions that Horse was due for a change of luck and cites the 2016 GF as one of the reasons why. It’s not the first time he’s mentioned the injustice we had to endure in that game.
Although this has nothing to do with the Swans/Melbourne game, it is relevant to Barrett's Sliding doors article.....and I reckon he has another theory spot on, because I think exactly the same:
"IF ...
it was only 105 days ago that Dimma was soooooo tired and sooooo done with coaching that he walked out of the Tigers with 18 months remaining of a contract ...
THEN ...
if the lasso of truth was a real thing, I'd love for it to be thrown over Gold Coast officials to properly determine when the first "official" offer was made to the three-time premiership coach."
All the jounos hate luke beverage, so don't mind bringing up the cheating in 2016 just to take a pot shot at him.
That is a much more feasible interpretation barry. The idea that the Vic-centric footy media will cease to be anti-Swans is fanciful.
Interestingly a "barrat" may be defined as an argumentative and quarelsome individual.
It seems Clarke will keep his place as the substitute - ready to spring into action and turn a game with his lightning speed, long penetrating kicking, slick ball skills and creative play . . . .

Maybe they are keeping Clarke warm for when they pick him to play on Sinclair in two weeks?

Well, you have indeed got lucky. The highest rating tour in history .
To be clear, I only get to pay for the tickets, not attend the concert.
