Yep it is frustrating the sniping at Sydney…….. and Carlton have at least 8 players they traded in ie over 1/3 of their 22 tonight……yet the Melbourne media won’t compare apples with apples on the advantage of Melbourne clubs to trade vs our inability to trade in what we want or need

No doubt the article will neglect to mention the Swans Academy players who were drafted by other clubs.Noticed a paywall article on the HS highlighting we have 6 Academy players playing tonight (Campbell, Wicks, Gulden, Heeney, Mills & Blakey). Without able to read it, not sure if it is a genuine compliment or another attempt to re-ignite the so called "contensious" Academy debate should the Blues lose tonight.
* Ben Davis (Adelaide)
* Jack Buckley (Greater Western Sydney)
* Luke Parks (Carlton)
No doubt the Herald Sun has not mentioned that the Swans are the only side who has been compelled to decline drafting a father-son player due to the draft rules. Josh Dunkley would have been a handy player to have."Unbelievable!" -- Nick Davis leaves his mark on the 2005 semi finalComment

Playing footy in 7 degrees and windy, so it must feel somewhat less than that in what is basically a singlet and shorts isn’t exactly pleasant, so the best antidote is to crash the chaos, get the footy and win the game, Paul Kelly style.
Team footy is what wins these games.
Swans CAN do it .Comment
