I feel it necessary to remind her at least once a week that she supports a team widely considered to have the most arrogant and obnoxious supporters in the league.

Last night I pointed out our poor son will be subjected to 90,000+ of them on Friday.

My love of my life loves the Swans too. We celebrated our 25th this year.

Some life choices are just obvious...

Ditto, as coincidence would have it.
            Congrats.

Media Pundits are increasingly jumping on board of Carlton having a comfortable win this Friday night and their biggest certainties this week. Makes me feel comfortable. Looking forward to them next week analysing Carlton's shock loss to shreds whilst we go under the radar.

Love your confidence.....and I'm quietly confident too.

Let's hope the Blues see all that and get ahead of themselves.

Also, let's hope we play four solid quarters.....not three.

I’m pretty nervous about the game tbh. If they get hold of us in the midfield … hope we can match them.

We’ve never been that good a wet weather team.

But these are perfect conditions for us to pull off an upset

Personally not sure we need Melican. Papley for Clarke and J Mac for Stephens would be my changes. Stephens to be the sub.
                    Fox 16, Ollie 16, Lloyd 21.

Nice post Wolfy. One other thing: how about our forwards play in front. Many times Melbourne had front position and took the mark. If the ball is coming in quickly you have to be in front. If the ball comes to ground you have the first chance at the footy.
I agree there but that is positioning. Our coaches like a particular positioning. I'm not sure it works without Buddy. Need to change the positioning to suit our forward personnel. I also think our running players were forced to kick earlier than normal due to the pressure, therefore ball drops short. Our tall forwards tend to play deep. The trouble is all of them play deep. Get Macca out off coaching the forwards, he hasn't got a clue. We need to spread the talls. One right or left depending on which side the ball is coming from, one middle, one deep. Two lead up at different times, or together if one is middle, one right or left. The smalls run 5-10 metres wide of a tall to clean up if the tall can't mark

The had 3 players free in our forward half, which comes up to the centre when was are defending. We had must players stacking the backline & 1extra on ball buf still lost the clearances. Sickening.

With the last quarter fade outs a problem I am not sure we can Barry. Saints, Blues maybe. Pies finish strongly, Port always beat us. We have not won any of the last 10 matches. Lions ave problems in the last as well but are very strong in the first 3. Dees are a shoo in with Fritsch. We don't seem to have anyone who can play on him. When Melican was playing Rampe played on him.

One big run into Cripps, accidental and incidental contact in a pack. End of Cripps. That's what would gave happened in the '90's lol.

Mills to take him out. Heens & Mills have both kept him quiet and he gets the @@@@s

Heeney did a brilliant job in round 11 on Cripps, with Mills out.

More than anything, we will need to have our big boy pants on in the midfield and at the contest. Voss finally has the Blues playing the way he always played - absolutely unconditional at the contest, the ball and the man.

That’s not to say we can’t do it, and we did it in our first final against the Dees last year. If we even get close in that element of the game, we’re a red hot chance as I reckon we have them covered in other elements of the game, notably the spread of talent small and tall forward of the ball, and our run from defence and on the wings.
'Delicious' is a fun word to say

We don't have a chance in this game folks- the Vic bias is immense in Melbourne. The AFL won't let Carlton lose. My tips are Swans lose- GWS win...Watch for some dodgy umpiring decisions
