Say what?? I don’t support or enjoy NRL that much but to say it’s not as physically demanding on a shoulder is well off the mark.

Just looking for some upside in all this.
Unfortunately I can’t see any upside to this, I’m-uninformed. He won’t be back until he’s fully ready and shouldn’t be risked in any position until then. Really bad luck but realistically avoidable. Feel for Millsy as I’m sure he must feel absolutely awful.

I haven’t seen anyone hate Mills on here. So what if people are angry at him though?

He was in a pub, drinking and wrestling. Clearly if it was an accident the club wouldn’t have come out and said what they did.

Sure it was an unlucky injury as they probably wrestle all the time. Nothing wrong with people being disappointed in him though.

Agree with this, AFL isnt a patch on NRL for shoulder demand

Hopefully it gets fixed properly and isnt ongoing for his career.

'NRL Physio' Brien Seeney hosed down those claims, saying something would have had to go "extremely wrong" for an elite footballer to be out that long with a rotator cuff issue. Seeney said it was more likely Mills would miss a maximum of six months with such an injury.
So seems Morris and Edmund may have some explains to do ! Sensationalism who would of thought lol hope this guys right

Morris and Edmond are tabloid operators.

One of our best players and our captain is out for maybe the entirety of next season....a season where our flag window is wide open due to likely off season trading....if one is not angry, that is just plain weird.

BTW, there has been no hate.....just lots of justified frustration.

A lot of reaction way over the top and sanctimonious. Mills has been exemplary ever since he arrived.

Exemplary but obviously not 'perfect'. Of course it's very reasonable to ask 'who is?'.....but Millsy ballsed up big time here and Swans fans have every right to be angry with the outcome.

Do you think Mills isn't angry at himself? Likewise his fans have every right to also be and I think even the man himself would agree.

Having said that, I'm confident he will be doing everything he can for redemption.

That was the funniest episode of THE FRONT BAR of the year. Toby Greene - hilarious, Damian Hardwick - killed it, Fitzy - v funny .

Hang on, what have I missed? Last I heard Mills was potentially in doubt for round one. Now posters here are saying he could 'miss the whole season' - was his arm completely ripped off? Was he mucking around with a chainsaw??

Poor Mills, his press conference showed a bit of guts, but he’s clearly totally shattered by what’s happened. Not giving too much away either.

It's like he committed a major crime. Ridiculous. No way he should relinquish the captaincy. Sounds determined to try and make round 1.
