    Different passage of play actually.

Umpiring and commentary were absolutely atrocious.

The effort was also sub-par, this is an extremely disappointing defeat to a very not good Richmond side, these are the sorts of matches you need to win if you want to contend.

We deserved that. They outran us and made far fewer mistakes. Just 1-2 less key mistakes and we wouldn't have conceded the critical goal.

Some bad umpiring too of course, but we let them win essentially due to our mistakes and skill errors.

Always loved Yze, best of luck to him.

Sheesh, that high contact free late when we were getting the ball out.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Could care less about the commentary, of course they are backing the underdogs... the umpiring was pathetic, but both ways to be honest. Richmond deserved to win that game. You can't turn it on for 15 minutes and expect to win away on the M.C.G.

I hope they take this as the wake-up call they needed.

Would take Mclean permanently fwd and Ladhams backup ruck over Amartey

Has potential but not there yet

to lose on a big ground like that against a team that isnt contending is p8ss poor and deserves all the criticism it gets

We missed Cunningham's run and speed today.

Roberts and Mitchell try hard, but when the ball hits the ground, Rioli, Bolton, Pickett etc are elite at picking it up.

Corey Warner seemed to play well.

Those suggesting we wont have places for Parker, Mills and Adams are being found out. Corey Warner needs much more times in the twos and a few other players were really shown up. Cant be quick enough to we get at least Parker and Adams into the team.

Yeah sorry, I wasn't actually watching the game (no Fox Sports) and saw the time of the posts and came to the wrong conclusion. My bad.

We had more than enough chances to win that. Just some poor decisions and or execution. The ones that stick in my mind were Chad’s very hopeful 60m shot at goal after Corey won a (rare) HTB and not much later on Rowbottom had time kicking into fifty and finding no Swans player

Hopefully does not add to our fear of playing at the MCG.

Not good to lose another player early - two weeks in a row now.

Outplayed and outbustled- credit to Richmond-

Very disappointing performance by the players- But I suppose they may have been over performing so far.

Off field drama may have had an impact- definitely losing Rampe had major influence- looking forward to Parker coming back to provide some maturity and toughness to the squad

Adams apparently looked good in the two's today....18 disposals, 11 tackles and 3 clearances in 3 quarters of game time. I expect he comes straight in.

Also, an early call for Ladhams to come in for Amartey.....he had 21 disposals, 10 hitouts and nine clearances. Seems to be in good form.
