On a more positive note as David Brent would say...we probably have just saved $100K a year on Hayward. Worst game I've seen him play

On ABC radio they were talking about Hayward at halftime and the fact that a number of clubs are after him. Callum Sinclair is commentating and he was honest and said he doesn't deserve to be overpaid as he tends to go missing. Hayward then starts off the quarter well and kicks a goal and Sinclair said he must have been listening to his comments!

Q2 appeared to be us not handling pressure, similar to Tigers match.

Pressure rarely lasts all 4 quarters though.

Also, we haven't done all that well in pack marking contests.

Oh this is awful. The game is just unwatchable. We can't seem to kick efficiently into our 50. Giving away some silly frees and just playing like a bottom 2 side at the moment

Blakey- he is a great mark, has a great run out of defence, but almost every second kick is to the opposition.

I think Armatay has had a good game, Wicks has been good- we've been a bit lucky with the umpires- Paps is fabulous- make him permanent captain.

Strange old game. I'll take that quarter but we remain unconvincing in a lot of ways. Just lucky gold coast making as many poor errors as us in possession.

I don’t know how Paps didn’t get a free straight after kicking that goal. I get he instigated the contact with a bump, but the umpire was right there as the GC guy threw him to the ground then stood there over him still holding on to his guernsey.
