Maybe, no doubt he’s a good kick ams has pace - think he needs some time in the 2s to find exactly where he fits - right now I think Snell has earned a spot a head of him

I didn't watch either but this was in the afl.com.au game report:

          SAM WICKS MAKES WELCOME RETURN

"Sam Wicks was a critical addition to the Swans forward set up after missing their past two matches following a personal dispute with a teammate. The fiery small forward helped lift Sydney's pressure that had been off the mark in the shock loss to Richmond and lacklustre victory over West Coast before the bye. Wicks booted a major in the first term and received the congratulations of his teammates, suggesting all has been forgiven inside the Bloods' camp, then added another in the second half."

Super Sydney Swans overpower rising Gold Coast Suns with second-half blitz at the SCG

Hopefully others who saw the game can add some light on this.

I thought it was a pretty normal reaction. They didn't really get around him or anything, just a few high fives. But it did cut to ads

I've since read a few more than just this one so not having a go at you in particular Daisi, your post was just at the top of page 4 where I started reading.....but seriously, I'll take a 53 pt win ANY DAY OF THE WEEK!

Well done Swannies!!! Second on the ladder.....and I tipped us.
To be fair to Daisi, we were very ordinary in the 2nd quarter.

Wet Toast's form has been very good since we beat them. Our win against them now looks a lot better than we thought.

Comment by Gerard Healy with 10 minutes to go in the game, something like: "the Suns have been very good in many facets of their game". They were 10 goals behind Gerard. Get a grip lad.

Fair enough....I didn't look at the time of the post but it was the second last page of the thread at the time* and assumed it was later in the game when we were smacking them. Yes, our second quarter appeared to be quite average with just the one behind.

*Actually, it was a pretty quiet match thread for an important game in which we won well.

Gulden is an amazing player. He just goes up a few gears in the second half of a game. He knocked up getting kicks in the last quarter. He runs himself into the ground and late in the game he was so knackered that he kicked 2 out on the full from sheer exhaustion. An amazing player. Probably gets 3 or 2 votes today.

IIRC Campbell was an elite midfielder in the Under 18's and 17 other clubs were lining up to take him in the draft. I don't think he has yet been allowed to play that running midfielder. Throw him into the centre bounce situations a bit and see how he goes. He's as tough as nails.
By the way I marvelled how good Matt Rowell was at centre bounces. He reads the ball off the rucks so well and so often gets first hands on the ball.

Genuinely keen to understand why you’re worried about Harry. For me, he’s got a job as a small defender to clamp their best and does it. But conscious I’m not at the ground these days so fire away.

He doesn't have the breakaway burst he has had. Just an observation.

I was listening to the radio so I didn't see. At the time I was also curious so I asked my brother and he said there were high fives and a pat on the head.
