They're still banging on about Chad's elbow. Looks like it glanced off the shoulder to me. High contact, accidental, low impact.. what's that add up to? A fine?

It’s the only chance for Luke Parker to get a game in the seniors next week. On current form Parker can’t dislodge Jordan or Rowbottom as they play brilliant complementary roles to Chad and Heeney.

Such a great win. Looked like it could have been a long night, after Carlton jumped us early, but then the team wrested back control and it was largely one way traffic for three quarters. Rowbottom was huge in taking it up to the Carlton midfield. Grundy had a great game in the ruck. Then once Warner and Heeney strutted their stuff, it was a joy to watch.

Though, if I wanted to name everyone who went well, I'd probably have to name the whole team. Very much looking forward to the rest of the season.

That was out of this world stuff. The stars were obvious. Warner was ridiculous, Heeney two votes, Jordon did another number on Walsh, Rowie is an animal. And against a side famed for its centre square work, that was a smash up: and the chain out of the middle that led to the Wicks goal in the third was unreal.

But a few who deserve a tick: McLean had his best game of the year; Wicks was here, there and everywhere; and people who want to drop Harry, name me the contribution of his opponents. And as someone who has been dubious on Francis, he was solid tonight.

If Warner gets suspended it will confirm that the AFL are trying to hobble us.....as outright flag favourites. I agree it should be a fine.

Possibly my highlight of the game, was Harry going for a gallop through the centre square and kicking one from just inside the fifty.

Brilliant, wasn’t it. And didn’t he enjoy it!

Love the way we lulled them into a false sense of security in the first quarter. Fair dinkum, after Carlton kicked their 4th goal, they carried on like they had the premiership in the bag!

Looked like everyone else in the team did, too!
We’re in a rich vein of form; long may it continue. When I was a kid I used to dream of the Swans being an awesome team; if we’re not awesome already, we’re pretty close to it!

And the Blues will already be trying to discover some magic as the Suns (who they play next) put 160 pts on the Cats on Thursday night

                            Wow wee

For me I can’t stop watching the inside work of James Rowbottom

Live at the game he was a monster last night

That 2nd and 3rd qtr he just extracted and chased down anything within 50m of the contest

Does anyone think he can beat the 20 tackle record in one game ?

                              Even Francis was good.

So we trounce the Blues, with McCartin and Mills out injured, and the VFL talk is about how the Blues are decimated. Typical.
