Haven't seen Hayward kick for goal like this for awhile.

They’re doing a lot right with their patience with the ball but we’re butchering a fair few and dump kicking

We need to polish things up a bit....but I'm not too worried yet.

        Well done Chad.....on cue.

Well there was a lovely and quite obvious throw to Dawson for his goal....nothing to see here....and the daft and blind Seven commentators let it slide as well despite the replays showing it clearly.

Totally baffled by some of those frees...but the frees will rarely favour us...

Ok, at least we've kicked some goals in the first quarter this week.

Just dumb by Warner and lucky it didn’t cost us a goal. Why give the umpires a reason to blow the whistle?

Another week another slow start. I don't think it was as bad as last week however. We were all over them early, but poor kicking into the forward fifty cost us, and they couldn't miss it seemed on their few opportunities.

Warner's goal was an important one just before the break. Hopefully we wake up in the second and start to play more of the game on our terms.

Rubbish free against Chad, although there was really no need for it... just get on with it and let our play be the intimidation.

Need a lift this qtr boys!

Inside 50s 16-9 in our favour. They’ve been much more efficient 6 scoring shots. 4 goals. And we’ve missed some east shots for goal.

Frees 7 to 4 to them....but there's been some not paid that we could have got. Let's hope the umps stop the crowd bias.

Slow start, seems now we are number 1 every brings the heat early - hopefully we readjust again - silly frees we have given way doesn’t help

Yep. That forward of centre/inside 50 kick is poor so far.

Slightly uninspired first quarter, but strangely, I thought we had marginally the better of the play. It's just that Adelaide had the ball bounce their way in their forward 50, while it tended to bounce away from us in ours.
