When the Swans were South Melbourne, I had a soft spot for North Melbourne because, like us, they were perennial losers.

Hate ‘em now. Their supporters are whingeing ferals who continuously booed Goodesy in what turned out to be his final game. And they’re coached by a slug who’s flouted rules and conventions countless times and got away with it! The number of chances Clarkson has had especially makes my blood boil when Isaac Heeney has now lost the chance to win a Brownlow because he tried to break the tackle of a defender who was illegally impeding him!
