The only evidence is the calls and the hotel only just started putting call tracer devices in the phones so now that it is in the paper and on the news etc I think the perpurtrators would be well aware of their scene and stopped doing it. It's the only smart thing and coming from my point of view, I would do exactly that.

There are always public phones!!! They can be traced but by the time the cops get there the "perpurtrators" or perpetrators are long gone!!

Watch the 3rd season of 24 (Season Three ~ Deadly Virus) and if you work out (too much to type so I won't explain) they show things that you can use with public phones etc IT ALL CAN WORK!
