Just saw on Ch 10 news that Channels 7 and 10 are looking at a joint bid for the rights for 2007-2011. I'm all for it up here, simply because of Channel 9's dedication to league means that we get shafted on Fri night coverage.

because channel 9's coverage sux and Gary Lyon is a rubbish commentator as well as his mate Eddie.Well done Craig Bolton for getting the co- captaincy in 2008.

Funny how 7 are taking the rest to court for collusion or some trivial reason and now they are doing the same thing by linking with 10.
Perhaps they are being more out in the open, but it's just sour grapes.
Having said that, I hope the broadcaster with the most Melb televising of games wins (personal opinion obviously)
It would be nice to rid the broadcasting world of Eddie & Dennis.

Got a long way to go this one.
7 and 10 have still got to fit .... PrimeMedia(???)/Foxtel in the picture, resurrecting C7 won't happen, onselling games is not a possiblity.
10 can still jump out of bed with 7 if 9 drops demands for all of the finals
9 could run with the ABC or SBS to fix their Fri. night problem in Syd & Bris, 7 and 10 have still got to come up with the $$$ to outbid 9.
