Julie O'Sullivan is out after the damage done last week. And Montana Beruldsen omitted yet again.
Montana is one of only 3 fit playes not named in the team or as an emergency.With ex Lion Kiara Hillier (who hasn't been seen since round 2, so preumably injured) and Eliza Vale (who last played in round 5, when she was a late inclusion and scored her first goal). So the cupboard is very bare.

Gold Coast are yet to win a game this year, but we've given a couple of teams their first win this season - hopefully not again, and equally hopefully it'll be a nice day.

Point of interest: Giselle Davies playing against her sister Darcie (the Suns relief ruck) for the first time.

Bella Smith is a late out, with Aimee Whelan coming in. Apparently it's a tactical change, due to the drizzly, slippery conditions. A good chance for a win, with the Suns being winless, but it's hard to be totally confident, with Molloy, Morphett and Gardiner being out.

I'm quite enjoying our pressure, but poor finishing and attacking decision making let the side down. The radar suggests that there will be some rain in the second half, so that might help our generally smaller side. Thought Hurley has been our best and Tarrant was strong in defence.

I'm annoyed that the AFL website has no streaming radio broadcast of the game, so I cannot follow the on-field play at all.

Oh well. Looked good for a little while in the last. Blew too many chances in the second and third. I guess it emphasises how important Molloy was to us, as she tended to turn half chances into goals. And that winning goal out of the ruck, had me missing Morphett, as well.
