Hm.. Kennelly was replaced with Brennan last week. He is back. Roos said Smith will keep his spot this week. Also said Davis will probably return to seconds...

Could we see White make his debut this week? It will be either Brennan retained or White's debut from that list. (Or he was foxing on Davis)

This could be a good week for White to debut as he would be a good addition to match the 3 talls from the Kangas:

McIntosh, Hale, Petrie vs. Jolly, LRT, White

Assuming Watt plays on Barlow, the other matchups look natural. Without White, Petrie could be a difficult tall target to match up on for us.

On the other hand, Collingwood's small forwards, Medhurst and Didak did quite well against them, so that would be a vote for Davis.

Hmmmm, does a player of Mathews experience really need a gee up as an Emergency, and therefore will he'll be in the team????????

Well he has been an emergency all season, so not necessarily.

IIRC he's been an emergency every game this year so far.

not too happy about that- There must be some injury concerns in the named squad for the need for an extended bench I feel- unless the options are being left open to see what the Rooboys opt for.

Good to hear Spida and Fosdike are on the way back. Spida I dont think is going to ever again be the player he was but will still be more then useful, and Fosdike while he gets stick at times I think does a good job and will fit in well when ready to our midfield.
"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."

They always name an extended bench on Thursdays for Sunday games. Not just the Swans either. Every team.

I'm presuming it would be Kennelly in for Smith, but I'd like to see Mathews in for any of the three Bs - Bird, Brennan or Bevan.

Bevan and Mathews to get Thomas and Campbell??

I hope we get to see White have a run.
