I would love to see Jack pick up Rioli. He has the pace to dart in and out after him.
Was told today that Hawthorn hold Craig Bolton in the highest regard and they feel he will get Buddy.Should be a good contest.

      Bolton will take Buddy.

Leo will most likely take Roughead.

So where does LRT fit into things?

Depending on the flow Goodes will drop back and be a runner from Half Back as the rest have their hands full.

Goodes again has the X Factor to be a match winner.

We desperately needed that last week

Mattner should play on Williams. Bevan on Rioli.

Leo has played on Williams before, and done well. I think it's a good matchup for us.

Yeah but Roughead will kick 6 or 7 if he plays on LRT.

Agree, I wasn't blaming him - just stated that he was the one who gave it to him.

Agree. LRT is the weak link as identified by Malthouse last week. I'd be surprised if other coaches haven't taken notice.

Maybe in ruck with Everitt playing permanent forward?

Hawks have struggles with a tall foward set-up.

There is no point trying to hide LRT in the ruck or up forward. If he is to earn his place in the side he has to take one of the opposition's key forwards.

I'm amazed that we dropped people after round 1 but nobody after that woeful performance.

Another example of inconsistency and favourites.

C: Kieren Jack, Jarrad McVeigh, Craig Bird.

If you told me that would be our centre line last year - I would have laughed and laughed.

They're all doing an excellent job.
