I don't think black and white will suit him. Interesting though that his name was singled out. Might have to get used to the idea of "Leo Lobster", "Big Bad Lobster", "Captain Lobster" or even "Lobster Roberts-Thompson"

                I despise trade week.

I like thinking about trades... until we get to the time of the year where trades actually happen, when it starts to make me feel sick. Now, the thought that we might trade one of our premiership players ('our premiership players' - it sounds good, doesn't it? ) just makes me want to scream.

Best time to trade them - their value is skyrocketing.

Think big, think positive, never show any sign of weakness. Always go for the throat. Buy low, sell high. Fear? That's the other guy's problem. Nothing you have ever experienced will prepare you for the unlimited carnage you are about to witness.

well, I've made my view on this topic clear before at great risk to my personal safety. Nothing in particular from the last few weeks has changed that view (especially a certain missed set shot in the final qr).

Interesting that Roos has said the GF 22 is not safe unlike Malthouse with a losing final side in 2002. We now see where they are - I think Roos' approach is correct. NOt that they will necessarily trade but that no one's position is sacrosanct just coz they've got a premiership medal.

I would hate to see ROK traded and I don't think it will happen unless he wants to go back to Melbourne (and there is no indication that this is the case).

The likes of Leigh Matthews, Malthouse and Walls all recognise O'Keefe as "a gun" so he should be well and truly off limits and even if he was traded, for nothing short of a good young player and 1st round pick.

                          But it WON'T happen.

I think Roos quote today is clear enough:

"We're not going to go out in the market with at least the 22 players that played, but sometimes the wheels are already in motion, some players have already spoken to their managers and even though they have won a premiership there might be interest in going home or going to different clubs."

                              Just said on Channel 7:

Davis is set to sign a new deal and

O'Keefe is set to put pen to paper in the next week or so.
That's the problem with modern day medicine - there's no more natural selection of the species.
No wonder there's so many Collingwood fans.

so the swans need a new ruckman aye? mmmmmm lets see, Primus or Gardiner? They are probably the only 2 that are up for trade at the moment i reckon.
