Pick 52 - would have thought he would have been at least a second rounder - he is not that bad - I guess that was all they could get for him

At least Saddo will get a game at the blues - good luck to him

        Apparently it's confirmed now.

        EDIT:

        Here we go:

That's the problem with modern day medicine - there's no more natural selection of the species.
No wonder there's so many Collingwood fans.

The way the Blues are going, he could be their star player.

I'm glad to get SuperTed, and I'm glad Saddo's going somewhere he'll get a chance but pricing in the players meat market looks like something the ACCC should realy be looking at ~ it's seriosly bent!

Pick 52 for Saddo! He's better than that. I wonder if there's something else in the deal that we dont know about yet. We may as well have tried swapping him for Fevola, despite our club's no ********heads policy. I think Saddo's worth as much as that temperamental, inconsistent let down.

Incidentally, it'd be worth getting the quotes from the past coaches of our two new recruits when the claims that we "stole" them roll around in a year or two. Just love all round in the Swans' circles (but wouldn't have been if it'd be Spida).
Yeah great - go Saddo. Look, nothing wrong with helping a much respected player find a start at a new club, but that is not mutually exclusive for gaining something valuable in return.

What is the probability of Saddo playing another 100 games with Carlton vs. Chambers playing 100 games with Sydney or pick 52 playing 100 games with Sydney.

We have been raped on this deal.

                    Richards deal was good though.

Disappointing result. Pick 36 would have been a fair trade.

Way I look at it, poor old Saddo wasn't going to be picked up by anyone. The club probably values pick 52 as high as pick 3X, so they just made sure he went to a club he wanted to go to.

Makes you wonder what we would get for Powell. I literally think we would of gotten magic beans for him. Or Pick Woop Woop.

I was going to start a rumour that we'd offered #78 to Fremantle if the took Powell, I reconsidered because it may be too close to the truth for comfort.

Also says a lot that Patrick Bowden was traded for pick 56 - Saddo is definitely a better player than Bowden. A 2nd round pick would have been about right IMHO.

                              I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.
