      Troy G

Troy's brother arrived in Sydney today and his post mortem was carried out. The results of his cause of death were inconclusive and there will be a delay of around 2 weeks for further testing before Troy will be laid to rest in Brisbane. His death is not deemd as suspicious but according to the Coroner, at his age all avenues must be pursued. His family will be arranging a memorial service in Sydney at a later date and I will keep you posted should anyone wish to attend. To all Troy's friends and colleagues, thank you for your support and encouragement during a difficult time. The Troy I knew and loved would be moved and surprised. Thank you!

At times like this words seem so meaningless, death at anytime is a solemn occasion but when they are part of a community you associate with it hits home all that much harder.
To his family and friends my sincerest condolences

The tributes here show Troy was obviously much loved. I will miss his passionate views. My condolences to his family.

an interesting note on this Adam Santarossa who plays for the St George U18's and who i mentioned in a couple of posts yesterday I found as a result of these posts from members of the st george club that replied to my posts that Adam in fact contributed on air in Troys Koori Radio Sport Show and after speaking to people close to him found he is shattered and in complete shock by it all

Troy G, we only spoke briefly, but I was impressed with your commitment and enthusiasm. Too young. My thoughts are with your loved ones. Float high with the memories of the last Swans game you saw!

I'm absolutely knocked for 6 by this one.

Troy, mate, rest well in footy heaven.

                        Very sad news.

Condolences to all that knew him, including all on RWO that read and enjoyed his articles and posts.

Sydney footy will be the poorer without him.

                          Can't believe it.

                          So sorry to hear.
I still remember Troy's post on Swans Talk in the early days prior to RWO. He will be a tough act for anyone to follow. The information he provided to his readers was the only place to go to read about AFL in NSW.
