I think option 2 would work well. It could sort of be like the TLM and hack of the week after the final game of the season carries over 'til trade week, trade week to draft, and on to the pre-season. I think it is a great idea.

Well Giant, assuming I don't get persecuted by thought police (that's a joke), I propose doing one a week until the start of the season proper. By that time I will have worked my way most of list, which is very egalitarian. In the week prior to the season, I will launch a poll to vote for 'Hack of the pre-season'. I will then have one poll a week during the season proper for 'Hack of the Week.' At the end of the season I will have an uber poll for Hack of the year! What an award. Something for our fringe players to really aspire not to get! I will personally send the winner a signed Hack of the year certificate with my signature on it and a crappy plastic trophy that they can then take with then to their next club when they get delisted.

        Are you happy with that?

So long as you can take as good as you give? Fairs fair.

No need to worry about that...although Barry Hall is unlikely to feature as hack of the week for some time, perhaps until he is at least 70..can't be too careful

All sounds fine to me as long as the HOTW really earns his status - I don't want any token selections just coz it's a new week.

"Torture" seems a worthy inaugral winner nws he hasn't actually got on the park for the Swans - I expect the week 2 winner to have really proved their hackiness.

Good luck LA! Time to clear away some of those "vomitous" positive vibes!
