What is your favourite quarter of football for 2005

During 2005 our beloved Swans played 26 games of football, that's 104 quarters of football.

I've just watched my favourite quarter of football for the season, the last quarter of the PF against StKilda. To see our boys, led, on this occassion by Schneiders three goals, kick 7 goals in about 10 minutes, to make it to the GF is just amazing. It is also the only time I have ever been speechless at the footy...when it was evident that we were in the GF. When the last goal was kicked by the Schneiderman, I jumped out of my seat 30 rows behind the cheersquad and said...nothing...I didn't know what to say at first...I was speechless.

This is my favourite quarter of football for the season, I've watched it about as many times as I have watched the GF DVD, and never tire of seeing what wonderful footy our boys can play.

What is your favouitrite quater of football for 2005 and why?

Definately the last quarter against St Kilda. We blew them off the park.

Q4 v. Geelong SF.
Q2 v. Geelong rd 15.

Q4 against Brisbane Lions Round 3, probably only because i was there to see it live first hand and rub it into the lions supporters at the Gabba! Gotta Love a come from behind big margin win!

really I know the grand final makes every hair on my body stand up, but that Nick Davis Goal against the cats..whoa....that makes me go insane!!!!!!

I guess, as can be seen here, that if you were at a particular game it does stand out in your memory.

The GF was awesome, yes it was the game that brought the flag home for us, and I was there.

The Semi against Geelong was exciting, but not quite the same from the Puckapunyal family room as being there.

I think that the 10 minutes that I alluded to in the PF were just scintillating stuff...and I was there, I do think being there often makes the difference.

The atmosphere at that moment was just incredible. The tension was almost unbearable. Itwas most definitely a 'memorable moment'.

The fourth quarter in the GF always come to mind.

As someone mentioned earlier in this thread,the fourth quarter against the Lions in round 3.Would of loved to be there!I remember the camera going to the Swans supporters after the Hall goal and seeing their faces!

I have watched the last quarter against Geelong (SF) more than any other quarter of footy other than the GF.

Tough question. Last quarter of the PF definitely the most enjoyable, watching us tear St. Kilda apart

But I could watch the last quarter of the GF again and again. Just the closeness of the contest (also the quality of opposition, to think that we could match the WCE midfield like that), what was at stake, and the courage shown by the whole team when it was required, make it brilliant to watch (in replay, mind you - I was way too nervous to enjoy it live).

Last half of Q4 against Geelong SF (amazing to win something that was so clearly gone)

Last Q of PF against the Saints.

Q4 of the Gf - but mainly the Leo moment and the Siren - the rest was way way too stressful!

The quarter that I have watched over and over the most, and probably gives me the most pleasure now watching it, is Q4 of the SF. It was just an amazing show, Nick Davis vs. GFC.

Our favourite evening's entertainment is to watch in order the final quarters against Geelong, St Kilda and the GF. We will probably add the Brisbane final Q to make a four Q evening.
Favourite? Undoubtedly the Geelong semifinal.
