Difference between ND and Lewie, is that whilst both are lazy and laconic, Lewie had more talent then and now than ND will ever have. There is more to footy than just being a good kick.

And BTW your memory is failing you Triple, my response was more like:

You have no effing idea what you are effing talking about...effing idiot.

    Indeed how times change!!!

Lewis has forgotten more about football then Davis will ever know. Please don't compare a legend with a homesick lazy arse that would be better suited to being a librarian.

Thanks Craig, until now I'd just about forgotten about Lewis.

I think he is a valuable to the team 10 fold. IMHO Nick is one of those players who shines in big matches. He is very handy and has done some clever things in the past couple of games.

Has some idiosyncrasies (like when taking a mark outside our 50 and he turns back taking his time restricting fast ball movement to our forwards) but done we all.

Watch him win a few vital games for us in the future.

              he will get there
If he wants. He is talented.

But he should be there already.

The excuses about his OP and lack of fitness are wearing thin. It has already been 9 rounds! I do agree he has improved in the last few weeks but he had to (a case of shape up or ship out) No matter how good a kick he is, he's under pressure to improve as are a few others.

IMHO Nick is one of those players who shines in big matches

He seems to be a bit like Blake Caracella. He can drift into a game and make the occasional winning contribution. For the most part however he just drifts. Like Caracella he is probably of more value in a top side that can carry him rather than a side that needs a contribution from all players each week to win games.

All the evidence is that he is soft and for the moment at least he is a 'receiver'. Hopefully he will toughen up and build up over the years and be a top player. After all Nathan Buckley is 75% receiver. :-)

and he can only get better each game
Why do you always say this? Why can he (or anyone else) only get better? Why can he not stay the same or get worse?

He's obviously never going to be a Paul Kelly type in how he gets involved in contests. Clearly he is also struggling for fitness atm.
I agree Lizz, I thought he was far more involved in the last couple of games.
