The Bar at the Brewongle was shi*thouse as usual - service wise

They were also pouring from bottles into the cups.

Too many staff just looking at each other, no co-ordination !!

Why can't they get it right like in Melbourne when they stockpile beer 5-10 minutes before each quarter break.

The prices for softdrink and food are "odourous" - no wonder so many people bring their own

BOLLOCKS! I did my bit from my spot in the Cheer Squad. Seriously though, the SCG makes atmosphere when the O'Reilly is in full cry. They were very quiet on Sunday, with the chants coming out of there coming across as somewhat muted.

So Des, get em fired up, will ya!

i think u missed the point of it being relatively quiet... that is, relative to the normal overwhelming noise the cauldron makes

Well I usually end up with a croaky voice and no one sitting directly in front of me by the end of the game, so I do my part from the Ladies Stand.

Doesn't start until 10:45... I think it might take some potential fans away... shouldn't be too hard a hit though. People CAN tape things.

it did seem like a lazy afternoon in the sun.

We found our voice at the end though. I watched the replay Sunday night on Fox and when it came to singing, you clearly hear our voices over the commentators and the music. It's the first time I've noticed our voices over the music before. Maybe they just had the vol turned down on the speakers.

                        Keep it up Sydney People

Great to see all the Sydneysiders flocking to the footy...

Now if only they would concentrate on the game long enough to see how much better it is than league or union! Maybe we should set up some sort of footy mentoring program whereby a long-time supporter accompanies a newbie to the game in order to explain the rules, order meat pies and teach them how to hurl abuse at the umpires!

Now this will be an agonising day for the long-termer involved but remember that it is for the good of the club!
                        Go you mighty BLOODBOYS!

27,550 for tonight's match. Still good... I was hoping to get 30,000 but as long as we keep up high twenties, low thirties at the final two SCG games, I'm happy enough. You never know... a strong showing in the finals and those good old days of 35,000 being a small crowd might be here again next year!

It looked like more because a lot of bays were completely full - but others were bordering on empty. 27,550 is fairly close to 2/3 full... not bad.

I'm hoping and confident if we get a home final we can sellout the SCG if the final is played there.
