I really hope Ablett get a decent run in the seniors before we think about discarding him. Otherwise I bet he ends up at geelong and plays excelent footy for them.

Dont's consider Richardson - he is a real whinge, bad tempered spoilt brat. It he is not blowing his cool on field he is blowing his cool and showing all his temper after the game.

No way - we don't need that brat at all.

It is scarey to think of how many marks per game Richo would take with an accurate midfield drilling it down his throat.

If he can take 18 marks a game with Clinton King as part of the midfield, imagine if he was on the forward line at Bris or even if he was a CHF at Collingwood with Buckley his delivery man?

I reckon he would be a nice bloke if he was happy and his confidence up...he's still a champ and still has the skills to be a great.

I agree . He can't do much if he's not getting reliable service ...

He's a good guy, and a great player . He's not spoilt, he's just frustrated. I think it's sad to see someone with his ability, seem so unhappy .Personally, I'd love to see him get away from Richmond, and or Melbourne, and enjoy great success by doing so. If that success happened, he wouldn't have been the first player to be thrown a life line, appreciate it, and use it well .

i was reading on bigfooty a while ago that a club has to delist a minimum of 3 players, is that true?

delist and trade are the same arent they, so i would imagine it would be frosty, warfe and cresswell

I disagree. He's only 29, probably got 4 seasons left in him. He's a super player with an amazing amount of ability. I know he's a sook, but I've seen him take games apart. He takes a hell of a lot of marks.

And he might have been the Coleman medallist every time if he could kick.

                          He's 50-50 at best.

                            I think you've misunderstood what I'm saying ...

I'm not saying Mathew Richardson is the greatest footballer to ever pull a boot on . I'm saying that by being the leading goal kicker in all those seasons, he's a helluva lot better than most . If other clubs are in a position to be able to knock him back because he's only 50 -50 at best , knowing they've already got someone as good - all I can say is , they must already be a very good side .

As for him being a sook ...

Its quite simple really, he's not . He might wear his heart on his sleeve, but what's wrong with that ? If he didn't then he'd probably only be accused of not caring ...If a supporter wants to say something as nasty and personal as what that guy said to him over the fence , then that's asking for a reaction . The guy knew Mathew couldn't really do much about it . If the guy was a man, he could've just as easily waited and said it to him in the carpark . Funny that isn't it ... A big fence tends to make even the weakest people brave .

I'm not trying to run his fan club or anything like that, but there's two sides to every story. I've been in a position to hear his side , via my partner , and from what I've heard, I can't say i blame him . You mightn't agree, and i understand why . I guess sometimes though, things just aren't what they seem .

I only joined this site today and buddy, I like your style. They are exactly the four players that should be singled out for criticism. With playing lists now shredded down to 38 there is no room in football for sentiment or hanging on to blokes hoping for the next Troy Luff. It's cutthroat stuff, if you can't cut the mustard in the first 2/3 years you are gone, or alternatively, if you've played 100 games like Matthews and Frosty and have reached a reasonable level but show no signs of further improvement its time to try someone else.
Hey call me disloyal if you want to but those are the facts if you want to build a premiership side.

I just prefer the steely reserve of someone like Plugger, not someone who chucks hissy fits during a match by banging his fists into the ground.

In the context of footy I find his behaviour a bit flowery.
