Bring your brollies though. According to the lastest forecast there's late rain forecasted for Sydney on Saturday evening. I hope it's not going to rain too much.

Collingwood's drawing power outside Vic is way overrated.

Collingwood appears only twice in the top 10 for Sydney and one of those games was T Lockett's 1300th goal match which would have drawn if Hawthorn was involved.

Collingwood appears 0 times in the top 10 attendances at Subiaco (Carlton twice).

Once in Brisbane (the GF replay) (Sydney twice in top 10)

Once only at Football Park (again Sydney twice)

Pretty clearly if this were a top of the table clash vs S&Don the crowd would be a fair bit more than Collingwood
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

League boofhead Ray Hadley did his best to talk down the match this morning on 2GB, questioning why the Daily Telegraph is full of news about the Swans. He said the rag would be losing readers because its supposed to be a "rugby league bible".

Someone should tell Ray the paper may have seen the light, and there's a lot more footy fans in this town than he gives it credit for.

I doubt the NRL will get 70,000 to its marquee Penrith vs West Tigers "blockbuster"" on Saturday night.

But a lot of league supporters may be coming to watch the Swans and people like you make league supporters hate the swans. Maybe try going to league and enjoying that too. I go to the Swans game and the Storm games and love them.

Living in Melbourne, they hardly talk about league and that makes me sad.
Sydney is a rugby town really and Melb is an afl town but we can all live and enjoy all the football codes.
            I love sport

So you should be happy the The Daily Telegraph in Sydney is promoting an AFL match this week.

Hammo posted what Hadley said on radio about AFL, you should be more concerned about that if you are really are so concerned about Sydney and Melbourne being true multi football heavens.

Hammo basically defended the right of the Telegraph to report on a huge AFL game in Sydney this week - Hadley made it clear that this was a silly thing to do. Take up your argument with Hadley, he is the one keeping the competition between codes going.
