Both matches are played on Saturday so that each grand final team has the same number of days off.

It would be an unfair advantage if one team won through on Friday night, and hence has an extra 24 hours to recover.

They have played a prelim on the Friday night a couple of times, but that was when both prelims were at the MCG. As long as one of them's interstate, both will be on the Saturday.

Now, I have a members reserve membership, which obviously means I dont have a set seat. When I buy tickets tomorrow for about 20 of us, many of whom do have set seats at Telstra Stadium, is this going to affect where I can/can't sit. I want to try to get tickets on the wing, instead of the pocket where I normally sit. Will I be able to? Can anyone answer this?

Your current seating arrangements are null and void from here. Its basically first in best dressed. You can buy 20 tickets for reserved seats on the wing. All seats are reserved. There is no unreserved area.

This is an absolute nonsense. The AFL should have knocked $15 off the bottom price, not the top price.

$90, $70 and $45 would have been much better than $75, $70 and $60.
