Remind me who shut out Tarrant in the first game against the pies ?
We won it in the midfield, that's why the ball didn't get anywhere near Tarrant. When it did, he kicked 4 last qtr goals.

Tarrant did kick 5 goals I might add, his 2nd highest goal tally in a game this year. So I would hardly say he beat him.

You cannot play underdone footballers in finals, especially when we don't desperately need him to play.

Micky is the only underdone player, that we can play.

Your point was not that he was underdone, rather "Saddington has been shocking this year, in the games he has played"

Clearly, if he is not fit he does not play, but on ability he is in the side !

        Exactly! End of arguement.

Powell may be skinny, but his tackles stick a whole lot better than Stevens, who seems to get shrugged frustratingly easily. I reckon Powell is a pretty good mark too. Something to look forward to next year, a few more Powell-plays.
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.

Talking about Ablett here... as far as I'm concerned making a good effort for a near impossible mark at the end of the Port Adelaide game and then crawling after it like a mad man on hands and knees showed enough heart and desperation to be reason to give him more time.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I am a fan of Powell and Stevens, but Stevens played a blinder in the backline against Port. We have finally found him a spot! However Seymour won't play so there is a spot for Powell, without replacing Stevens (who can go forward as well).
