    Fosdike

I propose that Fosdike take over the mantle from Saddington as the most bagged swans player on this board.

He is useless. Couldnt hit a barn from 20m. He's slow to dispose of it. His kicks without pressure hit the opposition defenders lase up, on the chest.
I only pray he handballs every time he gets it, but he doesnt.

I honestly doubt he would get a game in any other team.

Fosdike doesnt really have the footy smarts to be a champ, he just blazes away without thought. I'd rather see McVeigh play than Fosdike.

I agree. Although we cant expect McVeigh to play every game this year.
Next year with McVeigh and Fixter avaliable and matured, there probably wont be room for Fosdike in the side.

A good athelete does not make a good footballer and Fosdike is not a footballer.

He comes from the school of Athletes make good footballers. Which they don't.

Yes, it seems more of a trend these days and a lot of the current players have some ordinary football skills.

I must have got it wrong. I thought Fosdike was in the Swans team last year whose fast handpasses and perfect kicks to teammates delighted us every week.

Good thing McVeigh has stepped up - they look so much alike that we can just drop Fosdike without anyone noticing. We should trade for that new hyphenated Essendon player too and then we can drop lookalike Goodes.

If we want to pick a player that doesn't look to have a clue what he's doing we should drop Ben Matthews. After every mark he takes he looks like he's run onto the ground by mistake. But, hang on, he's number 34 on the list of the AFL's top 100 for disposals - only Paul Williams is ahead of him.

McVeigh wasn't much chop in the seconds on the weekend.

I'd love to live in that parallel universe.

Plenty are down on form and it's hard to focus on one.

I reckon they have top high an opinion of themselves and expect to be where they were last year. Problem is it takes 22 contributors to replicate a good team effort not half a dozen.

Ive just been through a replay of the Richmond game and Fosdike isnt as bad as you guys make him out to be. His general kicking does let him down a few times, and so does his delivery into the 50, but there were many others out there making the same mistake. Im not saying he doesnt deserve the criticism that hes getting - just that he shouldnt be singled out.

                          Too right!!!!

We ALL know that the midfield isn't as strong as it once was (with sniff... sniff Cressa going) but to single out Jude and Nic (nearly) every week is getting beyond a joke!

Fosdike isn't as bad as Stephen " Donkey " Doyle - who is just no good and a detriment to the team with his injuries and lack of skills and a football brain.

Saddington has been played out of position in every game of his career, as he should be played on the wing to capatilise on his height, agility and pace.

Micky " Meadow Lea " O'Loughlin should visit a psychologist who could explain to Mick that his make believe injuries ( hamstrings, calves, broken fingernails, cuts and abrasions etc etc ) are not helping the team in any way with him being off the field and that no players play at 100 per cent fitness and he is being payed a fortune to PLAY and not watch from the sidelines.

O'Loughlin is the only player I have seen in 30 years of watching VFL/AFL football to take himself off the ground with an injury only for the club doctor to explain there is NOTHING wrong and to get back on the ground !! This current hamstring was MRI scanned with the results not indicating a tear, yet O'Loughlin has missed the last 5 games.

Paul " King " Kelly used to play on with broken noses, torn ankles, dodgy hamstrings, broken thumbs, torn stomach muscles and bad shoulders, whereas O'Loughlin takes himself off when a hair is out of place ! Not good enough.
Well somebody told me, You had a boyfriend, Who looks like a girlfriend,That I had in February of last year, It's not confidential, I've got potential

Somebody told me, The Killers, Hot Fuss, 2004.

easy there mate. I would rather a fit player take the field rather than O'Loughlin who wont be able to run. We all know he his one of our most talented players so what is the point of playing him if we rick reinjury. Some players are just more likely to get injured as others, whereas some can go a whole career and be blessed - look at Crouch's record for consecutive games *touch wood*.

There would be absolute uproar from the masses here if we found out the medical staff ruled Mickey was OK to play if in fact he wasnt.
