One thing that has stood out to me like a sore thumb - I cant remember if MOL has been like this last year or not, but his contested grabs / one on one body work in the last couple of games has been really of an A grade level.
With Halls improved contested marking - those marks inside 50 are going to be invaluable.

You aren't the only one - Roosy is too!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

LMAO. Of all the players to pull up for running too far, I couldn't believe it was Leo.

This is fantastic to see. He's still not the best overhead mark in the business, but he has really been grabbing them much better this year. I think this has been part of the major improvement in his game over last year. Makes him a lot more dangerous and a much better target.

I was thinking the same thing. Ryan did that to Tadhg in his first year (2001). Tadhg thought he had rookie of the year all sewn up, as Ryan had played towards the end of 2000, but not enough games to disqualify himself and out of left field came Ryan to snatch victory.

Except that I think you'll find it was Fixter, not Pebbles, who snatched it from Tiger.

hehe I found it quite funny and ironic. Whos the RWOer that has the Leo "bounce incentive clause" in their signature? It made me think of that straight away when the maggots made the call today!

ok, ok. But given the thread originally did include him, I thought I was safe to post about him ........... but this one time at Ryan camp ........... Ryan did snatch away from Tadhg the best first year player. Becasue I was there watching it And it was so amazing .....................

(And I just checked, there's also a picture in one of the Swans News magazines of him accepting the award. edition 6 december 2001 - so I'm not that crazy after all)
