Buchanan was described as a strain so maybe not a tear. That'd be great news.

Bruised glutious maximus. It's a Sydney thing.
dare you to repeat that around barry hall.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

        * Five players have "test", which is a good sign.
        * The perpetual 3-week Schauble hammie has gone. It's now 2 weeks. Is that a good sign?

sorry, i find it easier to decypher when they are in descending order of length...

they havent even included davis, that should be 16

the buccy one is puzzling - reported around the media as a strain, yet could be out for up to 6 weeks and then in injury lists as test

so, lets presume that we are only playing carlton in 3 weeks time.

              IN:
              O'loughlin
              Ball
              Doyle
              Fixter
              Barry

              OUT:
              Powell
              Ablett
              LRT
              MJ
              Fosdike

i hope fixter can come in, in the next couple of weeks

one would assume that schauble and schneider will be running around in the ressies for a couple of weeks, unless schauble came in to cover whitnall

              two weeks after carrlton game

              IN:
              Schauble
              Schneider

              OUT:
              ??????
              prob McVeigh

if it got to this point, it wouldnt be harmful to give goodesy a week or two off, to ensure that he is tip top for the finals

Very funny. The only ground Whitnall covers these days is the highway to Maccas.
Shauble could easily come back for that match-up and not have to test his hammy too much.

that, then giving us a lineup, at rd 16, of:

                      crouch schauble bolton
                      barry goodes kennelly
                      maxfield kirk mathews

                      buchanan oloughlin nicks
                      fol: ball williams bolton
                      int: doyle bevan fixter schneider
                      emg: james mcveigh ablett

i would much prefer james in and nicks out, but it seems that james isnt in the highest of favours

if we can hold this list together heading into the finals, we could give it a good crack

fixter is very much in our best 22, he was our 2002's version of schneider's 2003 and bevan's 2004

he was quickly becoming one of my favourites in 2002, the last year and a half have been atrocious for him, however, injury-wise

itll be interesting to see the rotations if and when bevan and fixter are in the same side as well as schneider and buchanan

I hate looking at things like this at the moment. Each time I have dared look ahead wrt our team lineup, more guys have just got injured the following week.

Does anyone have stats about numbers of INs, OUTs, new and recovered injuries in particular between each round this year? I would imagine only a few times we have not lost anyone to a new injury. And I'd be surprised if our team has been boosted by more returns from injury than losses to new injuries for any game this season.

Nicks has been one of our top players over the past month or so. How the hell can you suggest he be dropped??????

James has plenty of potential and needs more time to develop. Considering our injuries, this is a good opportunity for him to play well and sure up his spot.

                              i was speaking structurally, mainly...

he kicked 4 goals 2 weeks ago, i dont know if that can be an automatic inclusion in our top players over the last month...

there has been no faith shown in james either

Whitnall played pretty well against Hawthorn. There is a thought that he may be regaining his good form, albeit gradually.
