      That was classic, wasn't it?

We were walking across the West Lakes Mall carpark past this group of feral lookie bikie Port supporters. They started yelling at us that we were **** and what happened etc etc. Then Boofhead replied, "What would you know about football?"

The ferals started throwing sausages and chicken wings at us as we walked off.

I'll just call it the Alberton handshake!

your entitled to defend your opinion as well

tho i disagree with you to a point.. personally I wouldnt boo the opposition off the ground..and i dont actually boo... i tend to just cheer the swans even if they havent got the ball ill cheer the nearby player to tackle and so on. But i dont care who boos its just a stupid sound, if it helps your team then why not i guess. If it puts the opposition off then isnt that good? I doubt the players would care what the crowd do

The people who watched on TV are watching to smash things. And are starting to moan and groan about us not winning flags, being crap etc etc, Port supporters booing after goals etc etc. Basically carrying on like complete sooks.

Some of the posts over the last couple of days have been not only embarrassing but the height of hypocracy. Here we are whinging about booing about goals (which I swear I never heard from my position in the outer.). Yet several people are carrying on like complete sooks and are even refusing to register that Port not only won but played well in the process.

Have a good look at yourselves, some of you!

Now you're just being silly. Where are these people who are refusing to register that Port played well?

...and as for the Power supporters coming on here and being @@@@wits, they may be your new friends, Julian, but that doesn't mean their behaviour on this forum is acceptable to Swans fans.

Good on em for winning, but i wouldn't go as far as saying they played exceptional football in doing it. Sometimes results can be flattering, meaning we certainly helped them to look good simply because we were so bad.

Whatever gets a team through the season i guess, but that kind of game/win didn't make me think that Port are a real premiership hope.

Sometimes it's like it's a waste of time going through the routine week to week stuff, to figure out who Brisbane beats in the Grand Final this year anyway ...

Funnily enough, i think us at full strength would have a much better chance of beating them than most, including the team that thrashed us the other day.

And sharp9, you're quite right, if theres anything worse than a bad loser, it's an ungracious winner.

Just going off on a tangent here, albeit a very important one, what's everyones thought's on the "thunder sticks" that clubs use at times? You know the ones like WC crowd used v ADL last week. I never saw the game, but was reading about it in the paper how the AFL endorsed the use of the things.

Yeah, exactly what I thought, but I'd rather just tell them to **** off

We used them at the Sydney Kings Grand Finals this year. They did help create atmosphere.

But in the wrong hands (ie kids) they can become very annoying.

Are you advocating the AFL banning them TF? Aren't enough things banned at AFL venues as is these days?

Well, no. But what you are inferring is actually what I am getting at. How can the AFL ban things for some and allow some for others. Shouldn't it be a level playing field? Point in general JF... Your drum. Why is it not allowed and yet these sticks are?

Well, I am quite happy to put a QBE or Toyota sponsor's logo on it.

Maybe we could outdo the SANFL's goal umpire cam by having DRUMCAM!!!!

I'm out to get a better one for the Homebush game. Am fed up with dong a coke bottle on the small one we have used of late.
