The positives from today

IMHO, in no particular order:

- Ablett's performance which was his best for the club, particularly his first half
- Bevan's composure under pressure at the end of the game, seemed like he played well beyond his experience
- We kicked straight (would have been very costly if we didn't)
- We turned it around in the last quarter when we looked dead ducks...errr swans....and you could see the emotion and the urgency in the players faces (eg Hall and O'Loughlin after kicking goals when we were still behind)
- We won a second quarter for the first time in 10 games.

I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Fixter's 2nd game back was OK too.

On the down side, Schneider is listed as having a hamstring injury.

Always

How about Micky O. He's obviously carrying some sort of injury.

Is it 'just' the chronic knee, or something else?

What about Hall helping MIckey up and later Mickey helping Hall - team spirit is alive among the Swans.
Go you mighty Swans.
Love those Swans

I thought McVeigh was pretty good today apart from that dodgy handball he gave in the general direction of Maxfield when he should have kicked it.
Good to see Schneider back.Does he need a run or what.He was knackered just running onto the field but he did show some class.
NOG as stated was very good.
Not playing well and winning is a positive. We could have lost that game to a very committed but understrength team.
Bevan and Schneider will be great in the midfield next year.
