Not sure if this has hit the press yet, but I am reliably informed the Bulldogs home game in Sydney is no more.
Bulldogs game gone!

And about bloody time, served no one any interest other than us getting another home game. But with the game in Canberra now a regular feature that makes up for it being so close to Sydney.
Can't wait to see the boys in Melbourne on a more regular basis and based on the Swans crowd that turned up to Optus Oval on the weekend, the club is now well positioned to forge ahead to 10,000 members in Melbourne in the next couple of years with more games. That will add much more to the profitabliy of the club than another game at home that we underwrite and pay for.

The only option to play the game in melbourne. If it has to be this way, lets see it at the MCG, where the more time we spend on the ground, the better it will be for us when we eventually play off the flag.Comment

Also would rather have the team play an extra game on the "G" to prepare for Grand Final day.

Agree with Captain. Playing an extra match at the SCG can only be a huge advantage - winning gets you into finals. (Plus don't the Bulldogs play most games at Telstra?)
In any case, happy for the Melbourne people, just hope it means it simply adds a game down there.Comment

Sorry to see that your interests are more important than winning and gaining 4 premership points. In fact what exactly is your reason for playing in Melbourne besides selfishness???
Personally, I don't give a toss where we play as I travel to see the Swans. So no, it's not in my personal interests that the game be played in Sydney.Comment
