[B]True, but I have found this year rather frustrating so far. I know we have had injuries, but the guys on the park are playing nowhere near as well as they did last year. It just feels at the moment like every other year when we promise something and don't deliver. We have a real chance this year, as we did in 96-98, but we don't seem to be grasping it strongly enough.

Hawthorn is barely struggling to be an AFL side - have a look at how poorly they have performed this year and all we could manage was a desperate 1 pt victory.

Barely - especially when it was a % boosting opportunity.

They may be last year grand finalists, but they've only won 5 games this year and they were missing Tarrant.

Without Fevola and Whitnall they're definitely bottom 4 - have a look at today's game.

Exactly - we played like crap after half time when the opportunity was there to boost percentage. It may have been man-on-man, but again it was from an ordinary side.
Yep, at least we're winning and hopefully, as I noted in my match report after the Carlton game, we are beginning to build toward the end of the season. I haven't really seen a lot of signs yet, but we will get a good idea in the coming weeks.
