JUDE BOLTON...superstar?

given the debate on what jude bolton is worth i was wondering where we all think he rates in the afl??

is he in the top 10 players?? top 50?? top 100 or outside that??

i rate him easily in the top 50 in the league...perhaps top 25!

Off the top of my head probably ranked 50-65 in the league but hopefully will improve on that in the coming seasons

However his importance to the swans far exceeds his league ranking

just a quick calculation but having him outside the top 100 would mean he wouldn't rank in any teams top 6 players

I know its a very simple calculation but i reckon he'd be ranked in the top 6 at the hawks, tigers, blues, doggies as well as being close at the pies and roos

players 6-10 at the likes of Brisbane, Port and maybe even St Kilda are ahead of at least the 3rd best player at each of those clubs - in some cases maybe even the 2nd

I think you could be wrong there he could in fact slide into 7th place in all those teams (or perhapes 8th or ninth) and there for could well go just outside the 100. Anything above top 7 in every tem is still a little overly pro jude IMHO. It is unfrotunate cos if the figures are correct it would mean that we may be paying over $300000 to a player who is quite possibly not even in the top 100 players in the league!
Another sad indicment on the decedance of the AFL and the Swans particularly.

I would like someone to put up a list of people at each club they reckon are better than Jude. I honestly cant see him being outside the top 100.

100 players from 16 teams is an average of 6.25 players per team in the top 100.

Jude would definitely be in our top 6 players, and definitely in the top 100.

Adjust for the fact that he probably wouldn't be in the stating 18 for Brisbane.
