    Celebration Thread

Doyle was great in the ruck.

Our quality forwards showed the strength of our forward line. I'd love to see our inside 50 conversion stats for tonight

Well done by Francis.Played almost as much as Ball.

Monty was great in the last.
    O'Keefe was good.
Davis should be fully fit next week.
    O'Loughlin is a genius.
    Hall, superstar.

For the first time in a long while over 100 points for Sydney.
Barry Hall was a greast way to celebrate his 150th, would go to close to BOG imho.
A very handy win for us putting us a game clear of the Bummers and as it stands atm into 6th spot

I love that we got 14 goals from our top 4 forwards.
It also means that we've got enough talent to have Schneider full time in the middle, next year.

OTOH Goodes looked half fit again - and Williams is no where near it.

Did Ablett or McVeigh get much game time? I can't remember seeing either of them.

Channel 10 rated Bazza as BOG

It was an enjoyable game to watch, it's been a long time since I saw the Swans take so many good marks inside 50. And it wasn't just those easy marks on a lead; there were at least three marks inside F50 where the Swans player took the mark lying on the ground.

The umpires were a bit interesting tonight, Channel 10 were commenting on the "aggressive" umpiring of Goldspink. No surprise to us, of course. But at least the umpires didn't seem to affect the result much this time, both sides got the benefit of interesting decisions.

          Now for the Tigers.

They spent a lot of time on the bench.

Great win and finally I can say with confidence

              SEPTEMBER HERE WE COME

Doyle for the second week in a row stood up and showed us that he has the talent to be a solid number 1 ruckman whenever Ball retires. Midfield as a whole came back very well from a poor start and finished all over the top of Essendon problem area.

Craig Bolton did a great job on Hird once he went onto him (why oh why did Crouch start on Hird???) and Leo for the second time this season kept Lloyd down to three soft lucky goals. I also don't have to say anything about the forward line, because we know how good they are.

              Overall top win

                    Can someone tell me something?

Willo had no impact on the game and in the 4th quarter he was on for like 2 mins and then dragged off again.

At the end of the match he looked really despondant and I noticed a few players going up to him.

Anyone know if it was to do with the above or something else (another injury, etc)?

Bazza played awesome - some of those Bombers goals though - it looks as if that $20,000 is going to continue for the whole season for them.

The excuses from the bomber camp are coming thick and fast, that article alone mentions McPhee's injury twice.

Hall was towelling up McPhee when he picked up that injury.

Mmm, I couldnt believe it when Walls said that Sheedy choose well when putting McPhee on Hall, it was a crappy choice.Hall has to be All - Australian this year.McPhee not.

I thought it was interesting that Sheedy wouldn't put Dustbin on Hally - he must remember Bazza's 5 goals last time.

But it must be looked at when people say Fletcher is a great full back - why didn't he get a run at BBBH?
