I'll give her credit for one thing. There is no way any of us here brought up Lance Whitnall.

It's a good point and the performance of Headland has borne it out.But I think Hadley and Power do offer plenty to the Swans.Power has become a ball magnet and Hadley gets his own ball which is important when assessing potential recruits.
The papers suggest that Ottens has been asked to take a pay cut which might make him rethink his pledge to stay at Tigerland.
He would be valuable as a ruck and marking forward and the tough attitude of the Swans might make him more aggressive which he needs.

        Whew, thank goodness!!!
Well I'm certainly relieved that we've all got your fingers on the pulse here...I'd hate to think that we'd be only leaving it up to Roosie and the coaching and recruiting staff to do the planning...
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

Maybe it's a secret plan to gradually get the whole Brisbane team down here....if not, I'd settle for Notting, Hadley, Keating and Bradshaw for next season...try for the rest the season after...

Well, if we are going to take the attitude, why bother discussing anything at all...?

C'mon, we should all know by now that ANY player who has been mentioned in possible trades involving ANY club at all, invariably gets linked to Sydney at some time or another regardless of whether sydney was the club mentioned in the original trade possibility. Happens year in year out without fail.

As for Everitt, he will not leave Melbourne - his daughters live there with their mother (no longer with Spider) and there is no way he would move further away from them resulting in getting to see them less often than he already does.

                I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

Ah, maybe young Nikki is a JOURNALIST who gets on the dog and bone to unhappy out of contract footballers, club administrators and player managers willing to spill forth there " loose lips, sink ships ".

I'm sure young Nikki doesn't base her articles for a major newspaper and website on threads from passionate, one-eyed starved of premiership success Swans supporters.

                  Give the girl some credibility.....

Very true on Swans being linked to nearly all trades and a valid point on Everitt. Then again, depends on how much he sees them now as it is not a major effort to commute between Sydney and Melbourne.

It can go either way, and depends on what you have to pay for them.

Sure, some will be flattered by playing alongside so many great players (the Headland syndrome) while others will be solid players starved of game time because they cannot break into the senior team (the Bolton syndrome).

I know it may be far fetched but is Maguire from the Saints off contract? I heard he was a very keen swans fan even though he is from WA and it may be an advantage if we were to go for him, although the Saints would play hard ball.
