Please name a club that does not have bad blood with Miller. Earlier this year he upset Sheedy so much that it was apparent that Sheedy would have loved to punch his lights out.

As a footballer Miller would not have got a kick in a power station.

I don't know why Miller is still bitter over our handling of the Ray Hall deal, after all he couldn't of been that important to them considering he was all Richmond offered Essendon in return for Dean Solomon
      Once was, now elsewhere

        The man is just bitter.

Wouldn't you be if you had supporters from hell, had just come last, no longer got the opening blockbuster of the year game (lucky to get any "blockbusters" at all), were about to lose not one but TWO of your major sponsors, were struggling financially, and were about to lose arguably your best player on potential to a team that had smashed you in the last game of the season )and hand you the spoon)?

Almost enough to make me smpathetic... but a few JD and cokes will do that to me.

Miller is a creep - I still have a letter he wrote in reply to my letter when he was at the Kangaroos and they were posing as Swans supporters and all the crap that went on when they wanted to come to Sydney.
He is the most rude???? man and the letter he wrote is an example of it.
            Love those Swans

Forget Ottens.Prestigiacomo is available for a paltry first round pick.

Rejuvenate career? Sounds like Bazza and Lockett all over again!

OK now who is the midfielder we're after?

I wonder what Doyle feels about all this? 2nd stringer to Ball this year and a big future as primo ruckman, he must be thinking, after Ball retires. Now its looking like he'll potentially play second fiddle to a player only a year or two older than him who is making the big bucks, for who knows how long. Can't be overly good, I would have thought for Swans ruckman morale. But I have a sneaking suspicion that the RWO response will be Who Cares?

I suspect Ottens' choice will come down to where (positionally) he most wants to play.

At Sydney he is likely to be earmarked as a ruckman who may occasionally rest down forward. Geelong are more after a key forward who can occasionally play in the ruck.

Of course, just because Ottens decides he wants to go to a particular club doesn't mean that Richmond will trade him there. He could yet land up at the Hawks in the PSD - they probably wouldn't mind a ruckman to back up Spider and/or a forward to replace Holland, Barker et al.

Yes, but can they afford Spider plus Ottens? - a big hole in the ruckman budget you'd think assuming they have to carry Crawford's salary package for the near future.

I'd expect Doyle to be relieved that he doesn't face the likelihood of having to carry the ruck division on his own if Ball gets injured and from 2006 onwards.

No premiership team relies on one ruckman. Brisbane have four competent ones, Power at least 3.

Richmond heavily into Simmonds suggesting they're courting a replacement.
