AFL website displays us as trading pick 29, which we do not have .. in fact Melbourne traded it to West Coast ..

Suspect Fosdike for #24 could still be on the cards.

If we don't trade away any more players - we're looking at delisting at least three. Powell, Sundqvist and... Fixter?

Probably a mix up with the Paul Johnson trade.

The position in the rookie draft is irrelevant. Once getting to this level, it is very much the same whether if you goes 1st or 30rd.

Getting Jolly is right thing to do. But not for the first pick.

Since when we have the luxury to trade our first pick for some backup option, presumably Ball will still be our first ruck and Doyle is our second option.

The way we are playing, we are not carrying three ruckmen into any game.

Our list lacks talent and spending the first pick for our third ruck option is way way way above any logical sense.

Was there anything else of particular value our first round pick would have helped with?

                          Tend to agree with that.

Doyle must be worried right about now.

Expect the Swans to trade right up to 2pm tomorrow.

Unless Ball is going to announce something unexpected, and was waiting to ensure we got a ruckman in the draft ....

Is it possible that Ball will now retire?
I know he had agreed to terms for next year, but had he been signed?

I am also taking this as conclusive proof that Goodes will never play ruck again.
