Rumour has it that we offered Fosdike for Adelaide's second round pick, which we then would have on-traded to the Demons for Jolly. However, the Crows baulked at his contract and so this deal was off, forcing us to trade pick 15 instead. The only disappoint is that we didn't try to get Melbourne's 3rd rounder in return so that we would have had a higher pick than 63.

Seems Jolly is really looking forward to playing with the Swans. This is not a player who is disgruntled with being traded here!

A Jolly good move to Sydney

I expect we'll see a lot more Jolly jokes by bored headline writers. As long as we're winning I won't care.

Seems like he was earmarked for us well before trade period. And it's great that he sounds so enthusiastic about playing for the Swans. Looking forward to watching him play next season.

Not to mention handheld signs in the crowd.

Do you blame him? At least our team has spirit and commitment. Plus an excellent coach to boot, and (until recently) a loyal band of positive followers who dont boo their team off the field regardless of the outcome.
