There were two dogs there this year ..................... not counting the referee's seeing eye dog.

To make matters worse, the Waratahs were training on OUR training ground today. As if stealing Telstra wasn't enought...

Looks like I'll be camping at Homebush or at least booking myself into Novotel so I don't have to go back and forth twice

The AFL have made a decision over the last couple of years to seek to placate the NRU.
They will live to regret this, as the rugger guy's don't just mean to get their way on venues ect, they actually mean to destroy the growth of Aussie Rules in Sydney(the whole of Oz if they could).

Lakeside Oval is not our ground. It is a training facility provided by South Sydney Council, which i am sure the Swans pay quite a fee to use. When the Swans are not using it of course the council is going to let other teams use it. Isnt it better that other users are also elite teams.

This way the council is able to get an income for the oval to keep it in the top condition the swans need it to be to train on, otherwise it would become a dodgy oval with no funds to fix it and with out it then where would we be.

            Think about it people.

You might have noticed we have heaps of Melbourne fans go Monty, TV coverage is a big deal to Swans fans.
And where did i say Channel 10 loose a game. I provided you with two options.

One with Channel 9 showing the game and the second with Channel 10 showing the game.

I would then suggest that if the game was being shown live on Sunday on Channel 10 in the Sydney and Brisbane market that Foxtel could possibly show this into VIC, WA, SA, TAS, CAN.

Lets not bother to speculate any more and wait to see what happens, who knows we may all be surprised.

Seeing you like to state things as fact - I probably should point out a couple of things.

                1. South Sydney council haven't existed for nearly a year since being merged into City of Sydney council.

                2. Lakeside Oval (Bus Loop Oval) is managed by the Centennial Parklands Trust - Swans access to this ground was organised when we extended our agreement with the SCG and had the B.Sellers facility built (This agreement was struck despite the SCG Trust and CP Trust technically being two seperate organisations).

Centennial Parklands is a State Government authority, with Trust executive appointed by the Minister of Tourism.

The one thing you are right about is that it is not our ground, but you probably should have realised Erin was being fairly tongue in cheek. Think about it.

No they can't they already have a match which they will be showing LIVE on Fox Footy at 2pm. If Channel 10 showed the game live into Sydney and Brisbane, then they could show it LIVE Australia wide.
                  Once was, now elsewhere
