The AFL works really hard to create an even competition, and the fans and the media (and the sponsors) demand instant success from the coaches and players.
Won't this inevitably create a plethora of tight, low-scoring games with everyone playing percentages and refusing to take risks?Comment

It wasn't tactics or strategy that let us down on Saturday.
