I thought the swans were the better of 2 shocking teams for the first 3 quarters, but they just couldnt put the score on the board. And the roos were never going to play 4 full bad quarters, so it was always going to be a matter or time before they got their act together and slotted a few goals.
Our problem was that for every shot on goal we needed so much effort getting the ball forward. The roos were kept in the match in the first 3 quarters coz they were able to score some cheap rebounding goals requiring very few possessions, usually coming off our mistakes, eg Nicks handball in the middle of the ground.
